Accessory to Myrtle
Haunting, soulful vocal harmonies. Fanciful folk-blues fingerpicking. Swinging, boppin' jazzy grooves. Music to make you smile, sing & dance.
These are the elements that come together when you experience Accessory to Myrtle. Check out these videos of our recent shows at la Fete de la Musique (above) in Geneva, Switzerland and on Radio-Television Swiss Romande (below) to get a feel for the vibe.
Like father, like son
Small Title
Accessory to Myrtle is defined by the close musical rapport between father and son musical duo Malcolm and Gideon Lucard. Rounding out the sound, cellist Vartan Baronian backs up the band with soulful, haunting bowing, funky beats and swinging grooves.
Their combined mix of influences, from Americana to African, Balkans to Brazil, combine to create a dynamic, one-of-a-kind musical journey into the depths of rootsy folk, blues, country, rock and jazz.
